A good breakfast casserole is hard to beat. It can feed a crowd and paired with fruit can be a nice, filling breakfast. When I was on vacation with my family last week we needed something just like this. This breakfast casserole didn’t take many items and it was really tasty! Here’s how to make this 5 Ingredient Breakfast Casserole.
5 Ingredient Breakfast Casserole:
- 2 pounds of breakfast sausage
- 1 30 oz frozen hash browns
- 2 cups of shredded cheese
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
What You Do:
Brown the sausage in a skillet. Preheat oven to 350. Once sausage is cooked drain the fat and set the sausage in a bowl to the side. Place hash browns in the skillet and cook until brown on both sides. In a 9 X 13 greased dish, place hash browns at the bottom and top with sausage and cheese. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and any salt/pepper you want to taste. Pour mixture over the sausage and hash browns. If not baking right away then cover and leave in fridge for later. Bake for 35-40 min.
