Just a few weeks ago I was writing about my sweet, loving 2 yr old boy. Now I have a full fledged 2 year old BOY. To put it nicely, he’s in his terrible 2’s. Like right now. He’s exhausting! He loves to show off his terrible 2’s in public. Some of his favorites:
-Folding his arms across his chest and screaming “NO MOMMY!”
-Stomping his foot and screaming “NOOOOO!” at the top of his lungs
-Blowing spitting bubbles in disgust (especially at food he doesn’t want to eat) or when he’s not happy with what I’m telling him.
-Running away from me, and FAST!
-Screaming “No! I do it!!” and causing a big scene because one of us is trying to help him not hurt himself
-Throwing himself on the ground in public and screaming
-Screaming “NOOOOOOOOO!” at the top of his lungs (especially in quiet places)
Then sometimes he is just darn adorable and I want to eat him up.
See at pattern? His moods switch so fast! One minute his smiling happy, the next he’s screaming so loud. Right now, in this very stage, I’d say it’s fun but hard. I love the smiles and the new words he’s learning. His smile lights up the room but his screams send chills down my back! Ha! My daughter was so different at this age. He’s constantly on the go and most of my pics of him are blurry or a 1/2 smile because my phone was too slow and he was over it.
Oh 2 year old of mine, I love everything about you. You are exhausting but I love to pieces 🙂
