Oriental Trading supplied me with some free goodies to help me write me review but my opinions are my own, as always!
Are you getting ready for Halloween? Now that it is officially Fall I am starting to decorate for Halloween. I love all things Halloween. The colors, the costumes, the treats. It’s all so much fun to me. I have the best childhood memories of fun Halloween nights so I love to continue these fun traditions with my kids. These DIY mummy pinatas are the perfect craft to make with kids and have at your next Halloween event.

Whatever events you are attending or hosting, making sure you use Oriental Trading for all of your Halloween supplies. They have everything you’ll need for your party including party goods at such a low cost. Have a lot of trick or treaters? Stock up and save big by buying in bulk at Oriental Trading. They have great prices on candy too. I loved these glow lizards and fun noise makers to hand out this year. The bendables are a huge hit with kids too! These will be a huge hit at the trunk or treat I’m about to go to with my kids.
I know that Halloween is a huge sugary holiday and my kids will get plenty of sugary treats from people. I like to look for non candy treat ideas too and Oriental Trading is my place go-to place for all things Halloween this year!
To make the Mummy Pinatas:
Start by wrapping some crepe paper at the bottom of one end of the toilet paper tube and cover the enter end. Next, put some fun Halloween trinket toys inside. On the open end, add a little tag and ribbon for pulling and then seal off that end with crepe paper and tape. Next wrap your mummy up with crepe paper. Add tape to hold it together. Find a good spot and add some wiggly eyes. That’s it! When kids pull on the string the treats will pop out 🙂

I have to admit, at first I thought these were just toilet paper-wrapped treats. 🙂 But it’s actually an adorable, fun, and FUNCTIONAL arts and crafts activity. Pretty cool!
