We’ve been busy with swimming lessons. Luckily I only have to do it with my youngest because it’s a beating! The wet clothes and sunscreen and towels… It’s enough to make you go insane! One thing that always happens around the pool though is HUNGER! All kids seems to get starving when they are swimming.ย Here are some of our favorite go-to swimming snacks. (Note, these are not the healthiest of snacks, but they sure do make the little swimmers happy!)
Grab and Go Snacks. I can’t thank the snack creators enough for making proportioned snacks for kids. These are lifesavers for on the go Moms! Just grab one for each kid and you’re off! We like the ones with different cookies in them. Thanks Nabisco ๐
Annie’s Snacks: This is a long time favorite. What little swimmer doesn’t like bunnies in all flavors? There are so many new flavors now so there’s bound to be one for every one!
Apple Sauce: Thanks goodness for apple sauce packets. My little boy could eat his weight in apple sauce. He wakes up asking for it and goes to sleep asking for it. Seriously. I buy these for on the go places like for after swimming lessons. They are mess free (if they make it to their mouth!) and lots of good flavors.
Some of our other favs? Pretzels, chex mix, and animal crackers! Kids also love cheese balls. I know they are messy but nothing a quick baby wipe can’t wash off ๐
Now snack time is over, back to fun in the sun ๐ Nicole wrote a great post on what it’s like taking 3 kids to the pool! Read it HERE!
