I love all things Valentines, the colors, and especially the candy ๐ I love making snacks together with my daughter and this is one of our favorites. Just like our White Trash Mix we made over Christmas, we now have a Valentine Chex snack mix edition.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Chex Mix cereal
Pretzels
M & M’s
White Chocolate Bark
Sprinkles
This is the perfect snack for little hands to help you ๐
Mix a generous amount of cereal/pretzels/candy in a bowl while you microwave the chocolate. (We only used 1/2 of the chocolate. It could’ve used more but it’s all we had!)Make sure you do the chocolate in small increments of 30 seconds and stir often. When chocolate is ready, pour over the mix and gently stir with a rubber spatula. Add in more candy or other goodies. Peanuts would be great for this too! Add on your sprinkles!!
Dump the snack mix on a a cookie sheet lined with white paper and pop in the fridge for 10 minutes to cool and harden.ย When it’s ready, take it out and gently break it into small chunks. Store in an airtight container.
Try not to eat it in one day!!!
