Now that the holidays are here, I confess, I’m feeling a little bit stressed. I always say I’m going to be organized and on top of things but somehow things sneak up and get the best of me. It seems like we have so many parties and gatherings and ‘favorite things’ to attend. I love all these but it gets overwhelming. Not to mention all the school events. My list is never ending.
Every year we have some traditions and things we do with our kids. If we have to narrow it down these are our top 3 favorite things to do each holiday season.
See Lights
We have some fabulous lights around town and it’s so fun to put the kids in pj’s, get hot chocolate, and drive around town looking at lights.
Make Christmas Play dough
My kids love making homemade play dough and will sit for a long time and play! We love this activity!
Visit Santa
Visiting Santa is a huge highlight every single year! Even though the kids are getting older it’s still a fun tradition that we look forward to. Seeing Santa is so much fun but let’s face it- it can be a long day and kids can be cranky and get hungry.
One time when my kids were really little ( I was a new Mom!) we stood in line for over 2 hours. I had no idea the Santa line would be like that. I didn’t want to get out of line and start over another day. My kids were going nuts and crying. I had a baby. My kids were starving, I was upset and mad/tried too. What a nightmare. I hadn’t fed my kids because I was thinking it would be a quick Santa trip. Ha!
So here’s my little secret weapon that saves me every time. Feeding the kids Red Baron pizza on one these long days makes them happy and it saves my sanity too. I don’t have to spend time slaving in the kitchen and then everyone is happy and fed.
Pizza night is the only thing that will settle mealtime chaos in my home, what about you? My kids will finally calm down and we are all able to enjoy a nice meal together.
I love that I can pick up Red Baron pizza at my local grocery store and make it really simple as I’m doing my normal grocery shopping too. I always keep some on hand for these crazy holiday days and nights. It makes life so much easier for me.
Red Baron pizza is not too thick, it’s not too thin, and it’s available in 11 different flavors! Each pizza is sold less than $5 so you cannot beat the price.
And when the kids are happy then everyone is happy, right?
As you are out shopping make sure you check out Red Baron pizza and pick some up for your family pizza night. Not sure where to get it? Check Red Baron at these locations.
