Baked Ravioli

July 29th is national lasagna day! We love lasagna at our house. I decided to make my popular crock pot ravioli and make it a little different, baked, so it’s more like lasagna. It still takes all the same simple ingredients and it’s still just as tasty as ever.

Baked Ravioli

Baked Ravioli:

1 frozen bag of cheese ravioli (found near the frozen breads)

1 jar of your favorite tomato sauce

1 bag of mozzarella cheese

In a baking dish, layer a small amount of sauce, then frozen ravioli, then cheese. Repeat layers until you have just cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 min at 350. With 10 minutes left to bake I remove the foil to get the cheese nice and crispy. Top with parmesan cheese (optional).

Baked ravioli is a very budget friendly meal idea and it’s very kid friendly. My whole family loves it! I fix a nice salad and we have a great meal. It would also make a good freezer meal idea or a meal for someone in need.
