50 Ways to a Better You

Every parent knows that not all days are cupcakes and roses. Days can be dark and filled with lots of up and down emotions. How can you be a happier Mom and try and find the good in all? It takes a lot of work and patience too. It also takes help. I couldn’t do anything with out my family to help support me when times are tough.

It’s easy to get down the dumps and fret about unnecessary things in life. I have to realize that I have a lot to be thankful for and share that happiness with others. After all, happiness is contagious! Being around a happy person makes it hard to stay depressed.

Happiness to me is getting outside the house for family fun activity. When I’m not having to worry about housework or job stuff, I love getting to spend time with my loved ones. Going to the park, feeding the ducks, reading together, and family fun days make me a Happy Mommy! I think too that being around my family makes me happy but I love also having time with friends away from kids. Having dinner with a Mommy friend every now and then is a good way to stay balanced and connected to adults my age. I think that is very important for overall health and happiness. Sometimes Moms don’t take take for themselves in our busy day. I’m trying to do better about this to have inner peace and clarity for the day.
