I cannot believe that we’re ending 2016. I know that it has been a year full of tragedy around the world and for some friends. I am thankful for health in this time for my family of 4 right now. Health is much needed and so appreciated when you don’t have it. I thought I’d share some of my favorite posts as we say goodbye to 2016, and hello to 2017.
In 2016 our little blog starting growing. We grew and reached more followers and found some fun blogging friends and fans. It’s been fun to network with people and make some new blogging friends!
Here are some of our most popular and a few favorite posts of 2016.
In March I shared a recipe for Ranch carrots. It’s an easy oven recipe and my kids eat up every last bite. Within a few weeks that post went viral (for me) and now it’s been Pinned over 12,000 times!!!
Over our Spring Break I was looking for something fun to do with my kids and decided to try this No Mess Painting and it was a huge hit! My kids had a great time and I loved that there was ZERO mess! Others liked it too because it went viral on Pinterest too and now has over 12,000 pins too! How does that benefit us? Well it means that these 2 posts give daily traffic to our blog (which is a good thing!) and keep our page views up higher. I’m so thankful for these pins and glad they have helped us grow in 2016!
With kids it seems like we are constantly hosting a birthday party. Nicole wrote about hosting a park birthday party. Come check out her ideas on how you can host one too.
One of my favorite posts to write was a fun thing I’ve been doing with my daughter. We’ve started writing letters to each other in a notebook. It’s such a simple idea but has brought us closer.
Overall, 2016 was a great blogging year for us. Our social media grew as well as our page views. I’m so excited to see what is in store for 2017!
Here are some popular posts of 2015 that are still going strong.
