Thank you to Maggie and Maddy Children’s Books for sharing a copy of your book Colors of the Wine Country. It’s a very sweet little board book that teaches about colors, against the backdrop of Napa Valley. The book is designed for babies (or early toddlers), so the story itself is very simple. The illustrations are precious! It’s nice to have a book that isn’t the same old farm yard/groceries/pets theme. This is a different spin. For example, “the dog runs through the purple lavender fields” and the little girls “play hide and seek behind the brown wine barrels.”
If you have ever spent time in the Wine Country, this little book will bring back some fond vacation memories. Or, buy it as a baby gift for a fellow Mom who loves Napa Valley.
Maggie and Maddy Children’s Books has another book as well: Maggie and Maddy’s Adventures in Napa Valley. It’s geared toward older children, and follows the adorable adventures of 2 girls, Maggie and Maddy. I don’t have a copy myself, but you can check it out on their website. There are a few sample pages there. Just as with the Colors of the Wine Country book, the illustrations are adorable.
Thank you to Wine Country Resources for sharing a copy of your book with us! We enjoyed it very much.
