If you need an easy weekday (or even weekend) meal these crock pot chicken tacos are just the ticket. It only takes 3 things in the crock pot and you can put it in and forget about it for a few hours!
The weather is starting to warm up a bit here. I was in need of a nice, easy dinner and came across these chicken tacos. I loved that it was a crock pot recipe. You can have a nice meal and not heat up your whole house from the oven. This recipe is perfect for kids too. A huge plus is that it only involves 3 ingredients! Â You might even have all of these already at home.
Crock Pot Chicken Tacos:
Chicken tenderloins (4-5 breasts)
1 jar of salsa (mild)
1-2 tbsp of taco dry taco mix
In a crock pot combine the above ingredients and cook on high for 4 hours or low 6 hours. When you are ready to eat take chicken out and shred.

Get all of your sides ready. We had tortillas, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and salsa. I decided last minute to make a salad bowl. I put lots of lettuce on my plate and added my fixings on top. It was so yummy! This is definitely a kid friendly meal. My daughter loved it. I made sure and bought mild salsa but you could use whatever you like best 🙂 I will for sure be making this again. It was so easy and light. Everyone loved it!
Side note: You can always use this crock pot chicken taco recipe to make other chicken casseroles! The chicken is so good it’s great in other like like:
