Have you finished all of your shopping? It always seems to happen me this time of year that I start scrambling for those last minute gift ideas! My best idea for that is giving gift cards or money. I know people don’t like giving gift cards or money but I love it. And I love getting them as gifts too! Here are 2 fun ways to dress up gift cards and money gift ideas.
Make a Waterless Snow Globe
Snow globes are so fun right?! Well, now you can make a waterless one with just a few supplies like a mason jar and a fun ornament. I found some great smaller sized ornaments at my local store. Yould could also use dollhouse furniture from a craft store! Simply add the gift card inside, hot glue the ornament to the bottom and wrap in a nice bow.
These are great for teachers, older nieces/nephews, or really anyone on your list you give gift cards too. When you dress up the gift card it makes it look like you took some time and some thought went into it. It’s also a nice presentation too!
Make a Candy Money Jar
What older kid wouldn’t want a jar filled with candy and some nice cash for a gift?? I know mine would! This was totally easy using a jar with a top, a toilet paper roll cut to size, and some M&M’s candy. All you do is measure the roll and cut it to fit the jar or container. Stick it in and fill the candy along the outside. Add the cash inside the roll so it’s not touching the candy!
This is like 2 gifts in one- candy and cash- the perfect gift and it took 5 minutes to put together!
With these 2 ideas to dress up gift cards or money gifts, you will be looking good for holidays or even last minute birthday party present ideas. I love how they are so fast to make and everyone will love them!
