If you’re looking for a cheap meal the whole family will love make it a French Break Pizza night!
One afternoon I was in a total rush trying to find something for dinner that everyone would eat. Isn’t that the goal of every Mom and Dad out there? Trying to find something everyone will eat?? One thing my kids to like is pizza. The problem is that everyone likes something different and then that can lead to 4 different kinds of pizzas!
After strolling through the bread area I found the french bread and thought it would be fun to try something different and make our own french bread pizza.
Here’s the full recipe for to make French Bread Pizza:
-
- 1 loaf of French Bread (for a family of 4)
- 1 jar of pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Any meat toppings your family likes
- Preheat the oven to 350
- You’ll end up baking the pizzas for 10-15 min.
For my family of 4 I bought 1 giant French bread loaf and I split in half long ways then cut in 1/2 again to make 4 equal pieces. Next, I spread on the sauce, cheese, and any toppings. My kids prefer cheese and the rest of us like turkey pepperonis.
These are so easy to prep when the kids get home from school and then pop in the oven right before we need them. We have these when we need a quick meal and don’t want to do fast food. I also love that it’s budget-friendly! The french loaf is super cheap! I always pick up a salad but you could easily also have fruit or whatever side veggie your kids will eat.
My family loves French bread pizza night! You should give it a try!
