This fruit pizza is such an easy and delicious treat to make for the family! It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day or for a summer potluck.

Fruit Pizza

My kids are huge fans of fruit. They will eat just about any kind of fruit at any time of the day. We are pretty lucky to live in a warmer climate where we can get fresh fruit often.

(Mommy Tip) After I buy fruit I make myself wash and cut it up that day otherwise it will sit and rot in the fridge faster. If I wash and cut it up the kids will eat it all day and it’s so much easier than washing it as we want it.

Fruit Pizza is a great treat to make when the kids want something sweet. I have taken some cooking shortcuts to making this treat even easier.

A delicious and tasty treat the kids will love to help you decorate! Fruit Pizza is great for so many occasions from your summer BBQ to Valentine's Day #FruitPizza

Fruit Pizza

  • sugar cookies (I used slice and bake! If you want to take the time to make a homemade sugar cookie dough then by all means go for it. I like easy!
  • vanilla icing (I used cream cheese icing. Once again, I bought mine, I did not make it from scratch but I know you can easily make it yourself.)
  • fresh fruit   You can use whatever your family likes. We love all kinds of berries and kiwi makes it fun too. You can also add mandarin oranges.

Preheat the oven to 325.

Open up the cookie dough and press it firmly around a circle pizza pan. Take your time on this getting the dough as even as possible.

Cook the dough for 10-15 minutes. I baked mine 10 minutes then really watched it carefully for the next 4-5 minutes. You do not want your dough to burn!

While the dough is cooking you can take this time to wash and cut up the fruit you are using.

Once cooked, let totally cool. You want to make sure the dough is totally cooled down. You can even pop it in the fridge for a little bit if you are pressed for time.

After the dough is completely cooled it’s time to ice and decorate. This is the fun part! This would be something fun for the kids to do.

There’s no rhyme or rhythm to this just decorate and add the fruit on top however you wish.

When it’s time, cut up and serve! You can cover and store in the fridge until it’s all gone (which won’t be long!)
