Ideas for Your Holiday Cards

Are you like me and just LOVE all the fun holiday cards you’ve been got in the mail this season? Here are some fun ideas for your holiday cards.

I display ours on the door leading out to our garage. It’s in full view of our kitchen so everyone can enjoy it. I hang the ribbon by taping the top to the door then as cards arrive I clip them on the ribbon! Its worked great the last few years.

I’m here to tell you to NOT throw away those precious cards/pictures. I’m sharing today 2 fun things to do with them instead of tossing them. I always hate to throw away pictures!

First things first. I got this idea off Pinterest. Take a pic of the card and use it as the contact picture in your phone. Such a fun idea! I worked on this after I had taken down all my Christmas stuff. Some people that send cards are not in my contact list but those of you that are, your holiday card is now your profile pic. That means anytime you call me or text your picture shows up! It’s so fun!
Next, take all your cards and make a nice book. I do this every year and it’s really easy. I take a few minutes and get them all lined up in a nice stack. I then start hole punching. I simply put them all together with a metal ring. You can also do ribbon or string if you don’t have a ring. This year I combined last years cards too. It’s really neat to see how all the kids change in just 1 year! It makes the perfect coffee table book! I keep mine on my kitchen island and we can all look through it.
A really sweet thing to do is to take one card or family a night and say a prayer for that family. We are starting to do this and it’s really, really sweet 🙂
Don't throw all those pretty Christmas cards away! Here are some ideas on how to use them!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Great idea – I put cards from special occasions like baptisms, etc on a ring to keep in their memory boxes. Thanks for sharing!!
