School mornings can be such a hectic and crazed time for both kids and parents. Between packing school lunches, having the kids fully clothed with back packs, hw, and fed sometimes seems impossible! Finally something I’ve made that works; a morning checklist for kids.

Since I work outside the home, I have to be out of the house at a certain time as well as the kids and I cannot do things alone. I made some morning checklists that both older and younger kids can follow.  I wanted to use pictures for little kids and keep things simple for all ages. This checklist is easy to follow for anyone and keeps kids on track to meet me at the table for their breakfast. I would also be helpful if Dad is in charge or if Grandma and Grandpa are helping out on a school morning.

I have an older kids version that is a real check list and a younger kids version that is more of a visual check list. Feel free to print a copy!

The checklist keeps the kids on track and they meet me in the kitchen for breakfast after they are dressed for school. My kids love to help me in the kitchen and this is a better breakfast they can help prepare themselves.   Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions have become a new family favorite during breakfast time. It’s an excellent source of vitamin C and has no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, and no sweeteners. They are lightly sweetened veggie and fruit juice.  Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions is the only fruit cup product that provides 1 serving of fruits and veggies in a single cup. The veg is in the juice but you’d never know it. Shh! Don’t tell the kids!

Del Monte Fruit & Veggie fusion cups for breakfast should  be served cold. They taste even better when kids have picked out their favorite flavor the night before and enjoy them cold the next morning. My kids love the cherry fruit trio. They also come in peach mango, apple pear watermelon, and the newest flavor is peach strawberry.  To help build a better breakfast pair Del Monte fruit cups with Lender’s bagels and milk.   Look for specially marked Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions packages on shelf at Walmart for valuable coupons for Del Monte and Lenders products.

Building a better breakfast for our children doesn’t have to take all day. It takes just a few minutes to pour some nice cold milk, add their favorite spread to Lender’s bagels, and take a Del Monte Fruit and Veggie Fusion cup out of the fridge. Their are so many choices for both Lender’s bagels and Del Monte fruit and veggie fusion cups that kids can pick their favorite flavors and have their own customized breakfast! Kids can even help by getting the bagels, milk and Del Monte fruit and veggie fusion cups out of the fridge in the mornings. These 3  products together make a better breakfast.

Childhood should be filled with playing, learning and growing. But for many children who face hunger, even basic staples like milk – and the nutrients that help power childhood activities – are missing. You can help feed a childhood when you shop at Walmart – by purchasing 1 or more of these products, you are helping Feeding America provide nutrient- rich milk to kids and families in need.  Join Feeding America in The Great American Milk Drive to help deliver highly desired and nutrient-rich gallons of milk to hungry children and families who need it most. More than 14 million servings of milk have been delivered to food banks through this first-of-its-kind initiative.

Would a checklist help keep your kids on track during school mornings?
