I thought I’d share a few of my favorite snack ideas for me. All of these would be great for kids as well but some of these my daughter doesn’t like too much. I’m always on the lookout for something new and easy to have on hand. About 4:00 is when we all tend to have a snack around here!
First up, carrots (or any chopped up veggie) and hummus. I’m very late on the hummus train. I only started eating it about 1 year ago. I thought it sounded gross before but I LOVE It. I always have it on my shopping list! It’s great on crackers or even sandwiches!
POPCORN! Who doesn’t like popcorn? I like the snack size bags that take about 1 minute in the microwave. So good! Also a great snack to take on the go!
Apples and PB. Yum! I ate an apple with pb about every single day when I was pregnant with Ramsey. At the very beginning I was sick and an apple was about all I could handle! I still love this is a snack and my daughter does too!
This is another one that I keep on my grocery list. Laughing Cow cheese with veggies or crackers, so good! I also like this on sandwiches too.
Trail mix!! I love trail mixes with nuts and seeds. So good! What I love about this is that it is super easy to put some in a baggie and take on the go.
Finally, here is a snack that my daughter has been loving. Equal parts stick pretzels and goldfish. A handful of marshmallows and chocolate chips. Yum!
