Spring is in the air and now is the time to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. If you’re lucky enough to have nice weather that means parks, zoos, and patio weather! Pretty soon your kids will be having spring break or out for summer break and you will need some fun activities to keep them busy. Lucky enough I’m sharing a few of our favorites today! These easy kid’s activities are perfect for sunshine days to do on the patio or park but you can also do them at home if you are having a rainy or cold spring.
Moon Sand: This is a kid favorite. Moon sand combines baby oil and flour to make this soft sand like texture. It can be stored in a plastic container with a lid and will last a long time! Throw in some utensils and your kids will be busy for hours.
Play Dough: A classic activity that takes minutes to make on the stove and is WAY better than store bough play dough.
No Mess Painting This is fun activity that we tried last week while on spring break. We had a bunch of rainy days so our outdoor fun was ruined. This turned out to be super fun and the kids loved it! The best part was they felt like they were really painting and there was NO mess on my part! A win-win 🙂
Park/Picnic: A fun activity we like to do as a family is visit a new park. The kids love exploring and playing somewhere new for a change. Make it even more fun and take a packed lunch! Here are some special treats/picnic ideas that your kids will love!
What are you looking forward to this spring?
