Looking for a yummy treat that’s perfect for neighbors or friends? Make some White Trash Snack Mix! It’s the easiest thing to make and so festive and fun ๐
White Trash Snack Mix:
Chex Mix cereal (rice chex)
White Chocolate Bark (meltable kind)
M & M’s
Pretzels
Peanuts (optional)
In a microwavable safe bowl or dish, heat up white chocolate in 30 second intervals. While that is softening, mix together cereal, pretzels, and candy. Anything could be substituted like dried cranberries or even peanut M & M’s. I used mint M & M’s (yummy!!)
Check on white chocolate and keep warming to get it nice and smooth. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. When chocolate is ready pour onto the mix and gently stir. I just used enough white chocolate for a good coating. You can add more if you wanted to.
When the mix is nicely coated pour onto the wax paper and pop into the fridge for 5 minutes. Take it out and gently break apart. Store in an airtight container. Add a cute bow and send some to your neighbors ๐
This is a kid friendly baking recipe too. My 8 year old did most of the work while I helped supervise!
We took ours in the car on our road trip and it was delish ๐
Enjoy your White Trash Snack Mix!
Happy Holidays!
