I cannot believe we are in mid-July. What has happened to our summer? Have you noticed all the school supplies out in your area? We are getting ready for back to school even though it feels like summer just started.
My baby girl is going into 5th grade this year. Where did the time go? I can hardly believe it. I honestly feel like just yesterday I was sending her off (as I was crying) to kindergarten.
One of her favorite traditions and ways to prepare for school is to get new school clothes and accessories. She loves putting together her first few days of outfits and especially planning the first-day outfit! Here is one of my best tips to get good pictures of the first day. It’s so easy (if your child will cooperate!)
Get your child dressed and snap pics of them before the big morning so you won’t be rushed and you can really get some good pics and not be worried about missing out on a certain picture. I usually do this the Saturday morning before. Take them up to the school and have a photo shoot in front of the school to get that over and it won’t be crowded! It will save so much time.
Does she look ready for school? She is SO ready and this Mommy wishes we had more time!!
Since she’s going into the big 5th grade and will be the oldest in her school she wants to be looking her best. Justice is one of her all-time favorite stores ever. They carry really cute fashion and accessories for and I love their prices! They have really great stuff for back to school including backpacks for girls and graphic tees.
Another reason why I love Justice is that it’s their mission to empower tween girls to build confidence through fashion and celebrate their individual style. I love this mission! They also believe every girl is awesome and pours her heart into reaching her goals. They are calling this Live Justice.
The graphic tees are so cute with colorful designs. They are so comfortable too. They also have more than just clothing for girls. Their accessories are so fun and their bright and colorful.
My daughter loved these matching shimmery ombre dots with her initial on them. The backpack has padded pack straps which is great for carrying all the homework! It has an outside pocket to hold her water bottle and sturdy zipper closure. The giant fluffy pompom charm is so cute and will help to open and close the backpack up. It’s available in 13 initials in store at Justice.
Confident, smart, and ready for back to school! Her Momma might not be ready but once school rolls around in a few weeks this girl will be totally ready to tackle on this last year of her elementary school.
Are you getting ready for back to school? When do you start?
