This post was sponsored by the National 4-H Council as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
My husband and I have always tried to inspire our kids to do what they like and have fun with. Yes, in the beginning we encouraged several types of activities from fishing, tennis, to soccer. The important message for us is to keep our kids active. Keeping them active is also keeping them healthy. We, along with their instructors, are showing them by keeping their body and mind active they are keeping their body healthy too.
Not everything is easy either. My kids have learned through doing and lots of hard work and practice that they can succeed and really learn some valuable life skills.
Last time I told all about the 4-H Wellness 360 Program. It’s supported by Target does so much for today’s youth! It helps provide a healthy framework for them like giving them knowledge and confidence on how to lead a healthy lifestyle and even share it with their peers and families.
Kids learn so fast! They learn even faster when things are hands-on. That’s why the 4-H is kicking off their national campaign “Inspire Kids to Do” with 30 Days of Doing. This is going to celebrate all kids to ‘do’ with a purpose across the nation with fun tips, tools, and resources with moms and dads.
This Inspire Kids to Do campaign will give more kids opportunities to do and grow leaders ready to navigate life and career. This movement will bolster the path for 4-H to empower 10 million true leaders, youth who do with a purpose to navigate life challenges, pursue passions and contribute to the world around them, by 2025. It’s such an awesome opportunity and so many great things going on! Check out this video to learn more.
