DIY Cleaning Wipes

I saw this video floating around and thought to myself, “I can do that!” I am constantly going through cleaning wipes to mop up spills and crumbs daily in our kitchen and bathrooms. I love a good DIY like my Febreeze spray to save money. These DIY cleaning wipes make for about .25-.40 cents EACH! (Depending on the price you pay for paper towels). You will find so many uses for the cleaning wipes so it’s a win-win!

DIY Cleaning Wipes
1 Roll of cheap paper towels (cut in 1/2) I use the $1.00 Roll so it makes this 50 cents per wipe set!

1/2 cup of Water

1/4 cup of Vinegar

1/4 cup of Rubbing Alcohol

1 tsp dish soap

8-10 drops of Essential Oils (Orange and Lemon)

Bowl

Old Wipes Container or Coffee Container with lid

Carefully cut the paper towel roll in 1/2. Leave in the center cardboard. In a bowl combine the vinegar, water, rubbing alcohol, dish soap, and oils. Stir together with a spoon. Place your 1/2 roll of paper towels in your container and carefully pour the mixture over the entire thing. Remove the cardboard center and pull up one wipe to the top and pull out the lid. Your wipes are all ready now!

You will have some liquid at the bottom so every few days shake it up to get the wipes to stay moist. These are great for kitchen counters, sinks, and even a quick clean up on tile floors.
