This baked ravioli (aka: Lazy Lasagna) is so good and a simple meal to make during the busy week. It’s also a good one you can deliver to a friend or freeze for later use!
Sometimes you just need to hit the easy button and this baked ravioli is just the ticket. It’s also a very budget-friendly meal. It only takes 3 things so it’s a good one to stock up on or have the ingredients ready for a when you need a quick meal!
Baked Ravioli:
1 frozen bag of cheese ravioli (found near the frozen breads)
1 jar of your favorite tomato sauce
1 bag of mozzarella cheese
In a baking dish, layer a small amount of sauce, then frozen ravioli, then cheese. Repeat layers until you have just cheese on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 min at 350. With 10 minutes left to bake I remove the foil to get the cheese nice and crispy. Top with parmesan cheese (optional).
Baked ravioli is a very budget-friendly meal idea and it’s very kid-friendly. My whole family loves it! I fix a nice salad and we have a great meal. It would also make a good freezer meal idea or a meal for someone in need.
You could also serve with your kid’s favorite side dish- green beans would work too!
Baked ravioli takes about 5 minutes to prep so sometimes I will prep it early in the morning and bake in the afternoon. If you want to try this same recipe in the crockpot you can! It’s just as good and super easy too.
