We are nearing the end of the school year so we have lots to celebrate! Spring soccer and basketball seasons are ending so it’s time to party for a job well done. What better way to celebrate than with a DIY waffle bar! The Eggo Waffle Truck is traveling around the country giving out free samples!
The waffle truck will move a total of 200 times over 100+ days. This started in April and will continue on through September at select Walmart locations.
I got to check out the food truck as it was going through Dallas last week and it was great. They had a menu where you could choose your favorite from savory to sweet. I chose the sweet because I wanted to get a taste of how this would be together. It was delicious!
This gave me the idea for my DIY waffle sundae!
Delicious News! Eggo waffles now have no artificial flavors and colors from natural sources. This is a great time to stock up for the waffle bar.
On my shopping list:
- Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles
- Kellogg’s® Eggo® Thick & Fluffy
- M&M’S® Minis Milk Chocolate Candies Sharing Size
- Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream
- Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping
- Fresh Berries
This is the perfect time of year to celebrate a job well done as we are ending the school year. It’s been a long year filled with lots of practices, games, and tournaments. Celebrating with a DIY waffle bar would also be a great idea for upcoming Father’s Day or a graduation party!
Waffle Ice-Cream Sundae

This is so simple to make. You just stack and add what you want. Everyone will like being able to customize theirs to their own liking.
What would you have on your waffle bar?
