Are your kids out of school yet? We are on week 2 but it doesn’t feel real yet? (As crazy as that sounds!) Right before we got out my youngest had a fun Kindergarten end of the year party to get ready for summer.  The theme was a luau party since it was the end of the year and it turned out just adorable. Thanks to Oriental Trading, it was a breeze to put together!

We kept everything really simple with our luau party. Since we were doing it outside and we only had an hour with the kids, simple is always best! For the snack table, we had an easy grab and go area with easy snacks in buckets. We did goldfish and pretzels with shovels that the kids could scoop into a cup and walk around with. There was also an ice chest with water and popsicles. The snack table was decorated tropical flowered table skirt.  It was easy to put on our table and fit in so great with the luau party theme!

The kids all got lays when they came outside along with some fun neon sunglasses since we were outside and it was hot! Luckily we had tents set up to provide some shade. Once the music got going and snacks and drinks got started I think the kids could have cared less about the heat!

Several stations were set up for the kids to go to and play different games. This gave them something to do and provided some fun entertainment. We used hula-hoops, limbo, and other fun outdoor equipment to keep the kids rotating (and busy!)  I think their favorite station was the popsicle station!

I loved this cute surfboard backdrop we put up against the brick wall. We had a Mom stationed here as well taking pictures of the kids with some fun photo props and we shared the pics with all the parents. It was so cute and easy decoration as well! It was really big and came in several sections so we can use it again!

Before we knew it, the party was over. We handed out some fun goody bags for each child that included the sunglasses, rainbow pops and these cute backpack key chains.

Overall our luau party was a success! Everyone had a great time and luckily there was plenty to do. I saw nothing but smiles which is always a good thing, right?!
